Crimson Eve - by Brandilyn Collins

A real estate agent takes a prospective buyer to an isolated estate, but instead of making a sale she finds herself staring at the business end of a gun. In this pulse-pounding story, Carla Radling is pursued by a ruthless killer and by the mistakes of her past. Crimson Eve is the third in Collins’ Kanner Lake Series, but I haven’t read the first two and I was totally absorbed by this book. My breath caught in my throat during the first chapter and I don’t think I breathed again until the end. Great characters, intense story, exceptional writing. Just when I thought I had everything figured out, Collins threw in a twist that I didn’t see coming. I highly recommend this book, but take your blood pressure medicine first
